Beschreibung
Phototherapie-Schutzbrille für Früh- und Neugeborene mit Gel-Fixierung
Im folgenden werden die Probleme, die bei der Nutzung herkömmlicher Schutzbrillen mit KlettbändernAverschlüssen (um und über den Kopf) aus medizischer und pflegerischer Sicht auftreten, stichwortartig aufgelistet:
- ungenügende Paßform (durch Kopfform, Haare etc. und die Befestigungskonstruktion durch »Bänder« um und über dem Kopf ist das Verrutschen vorprogrammiert)
- Deformation des Kopfes bei festem Sitz
- durch die zirkuläre Bindung ist für das Anlegen ein Anheben des Kopfes notwendig (besonders bei Intensivkindern problematisch)
-Anlegen beim schlafenden Kind kaum möglich
-durch zu stramme Bindung Gefahr von Durchblutungsstörungen (Minderdurchblutung)
- durch zu stramme Bindung Dekubitusgefahr
- durch unzureichende Paßform entstehen in der täglichen Praxis Probleme bei der Abdichtung (Tupfer wird als > Dichtstopfen« benutzt)
-Anbringung ist durch vielfache Verstellmöglichkeiten langwierig
- durch ständige Verrutschgefahr ist ein engmaschiger Kontrollrhythmus notwendig
Diese Trage- und Anlegeprobleme bei Früh- und Neugeborenen können zum Teil zu ernsthaften gesundheitlichen Störungen führen, diese gilt es zu vermeiden.
Dies wird durch eine Gel-Fixierte Universalbrille erreicht, die die Augen von Früh- und Neugeborenen vor Bestrahlungsschäden während der Bestrahlung mit Blaulicht schützen soll und gleichzeitig einen guten Tragekomfort und eine optimale Schutzfunktion bietet. Als Befestigungshilfe am Kopf dient hier eine Gel-Schicht, die eine optimale Kopfform-Anpassung ermöglicht (Figur 1).
Die Vorteile einer Gel-Fixierten Universalbrille sind:
- schnell anzubringen
- kein Verrutschen möglich, gewährleistet so sicheren Schutz vor Bestrahlungsschäden
- angenehm zu tragen

- kein Abschnüren von Gefäßen wie bei der zirkulären Bindung
- individuelles Anpassen an das Kind möglich
- günstiger in der Produktion, da eine Brille für alle Größen sowie Verzicht auf aufwendige Produktion (Klettverschlüsse etc.)
Die Brille verläuft oberhalb der Augenbrauen auf der Stirn, an den Schläfen und über den Wangenknochen (Figur 2). Da es nur eine Größe gibt, werden Schnittlinien für verschiedene Kopfgrößen aufgedruckt sein, die eine grobe Voranpassung ermöglichen (Figur 3). Die Schutzbrille wird mit Kind- bzw. Elterngerechtem Dekor und Farbigkeit versehen.
