Die Besonderheit dieses Futtertroges ist, daß er aus einem Rohr gefertigt ist, und die Geometrie so gewählt wurde, daß die Tiere, z. B. Ferkel, eine optimale Futteraufnahme genießen. Sie haben Sichtkontakt und trotzdem hat jedes Tier eine eigene Futterbucht. Die Fertigung solcher Tröge, mit speziell angepaßten Öffnungen, ist erst seit kurzem durch modernste Technik möglich. Der Trog wurde in Kombination mit einer Futteramme entwickelt. Diese fördert, z. B. Milch, über ein Rohrsystem in den Trog. So ist gewährleistet, daß der Trog gefüllt wird und gleichzeitig die Tiere mit der Futteraufnahme beginnen können. Die Anzahl der Öffnungen und der Durchmesser des Rohres ist frei wählbar und hängt von der Tierart, die zu versorgen ist, ab. Als Abschluß dienen zwei Befestigungslaschen. Sie werden einerseits als Abschluß und andererseits als Befestigungspunkt auf die Roste eingesetzt.
