The invention relates to two tabletop shapes for office workstations, namely a table and a roll container.

The grouping of table tops of different numbers and the supplementation of these with containers (extension of the table top) enable the creation of team workstations of different sizes.

When working in a team, teams of different sizes come together temporarily. Team workstations (tables) are designed to enable spontaneous, quick configuration (different arrangements) and thus the creation of work surfaces of different sizes, where the team members work together on an "equal basis" (same position of their work tables).

State of the art

There are various computer workstations from different office furniture manufacturers whose work surfaces have different shapes (ergonomic, non-ergonomic, organic or clearly geometric). The shape of the panels is usually purely formal, subject to trends and is not linked to an additional function.

These table top shapes cause difficulties when creating team workstations (different table top shapes are to be connected to form closed units of different sizes). This should be possible with one table top shape if possible. Existing office desks (not conference tables, i.e. without assembly) can only form very few different configurations or require many different table top shapes and complex assembly.

Object of the invention

The aim is to create as many different sized configurations as possible using one panel shape, just by arranging the tables in different ways. Team members can move their entire workstation (table/container) as well as the materials and technical equipment on and in it.

Description of the invention

The team workstation I invented, consisting of a mobile work table with a large worktop and a mobile roll container with a small worktop, allows the grouping of different numbers of tabletops due to the specific functional features of the worktops and thus the formation of team workstations of different sizes. Claims (5)

1. Team workstation, characterized in that it consists of a mobile work table with a large worktop and a rolling container with a small worktop attached, which fit together at a working height. ( Fig. 1 to 3) 2. Shape of the large worktop, characterized in that it is curved and ergonomically shaped, that the four edges of the top have the same radius and are convex and concave in pairs opposite each other, with two convex edges and two concave edges meeting in a diagonally opposite corner. The side edges of the worktop are at certain angles to each other, which enable a top shape that, in combination (put together with other work tables) with other worktops of the same size and smaller worktops (roll containers), enables closed table or top configurations. This means that the convex and concave edges of the various tables fit into each other and form new, closed geometries. The protection should include the proportional dimensional change (enlargement, reduction) of the top. ( Fig. 4; Fig. 1) 3. Shape of the small worktop, characterized in that it has four edges, three of which are concave and one is straight. Two of the concave edges are opposite each other and are shorter, the two longer edges, one concave and one straight, are also opposite each other. The radius of the concave edges of the edges of the large worktop matches the radius of the edges of the large worktop so that when different numbers of work tables and roll containers are put together at the same working height, the worktops form closed surfaces and geometries. Likewise, putting the roll containers together in pairs on the straight edges of the plate forms a closed plate shape. The protection should include the proportional dimensional change (enlargement, reduction) of the plate. ( Fig. 4; Fig. 2) 4. Combination options for large worktops (work table), characterized in that the different combination of two or more work tables (with large worktops of the same shape) leads to closed work surfaces of different geometric shapes and sizes. The worktops are at the same height. ( Fig. 5; Fig. 1 to 5) 5. Combination options for large and small worktops, characterized in that large worktops (work tables) can be extended by small worktops (roll containers) individually or in combination with worktops of the same size in different numbers. The concave edges of the small worktops form a positive connection with the convex edges of the large worktops. New geometric shapes are created which fit together. Small and large worktops are at the same height. The roll containers with the small worktop can be moved along the convex edges of the work tables. ( Fig. 6; Fig. 7 to 10).
