Claims (3)

For aquatic animals colonizable sheet pile construction ("rock garden"), characterized in that one or more hollow bodies are integrated into a sheet pile wall required for bank protection or other reasons, the water-side limitation for aquatic animals is continuous. The accessible cavity serves as a habitat for the aquatic fauna. The size of a cavity must be adapted to the respective structural conditions and is therefore variable. 2. Sheet pile construction ("rock garden") according to protection claim 1 characterized, that by two opposite sheet pile elements that are connected together be formed, a hollow body that is used to improve the colonizability of the aquatic fauna is filled with a substrate. This can e.g. B. water blocks his. Depending on the structural requirements, the hollow body can be both on the water side and be arranged on the land side of the sheet pile. The original function of the sheet pile wall is not changed. 3. Sheet pile construction ("rock garden") according to protection claims 1 and 2 characterized, that the water-side front of the hollow body integrated in the sheet pile wall is perforated to enable colonization by the aquatic fauna. The size and number of Openings per hollow body is dimensioned so that from a hydraulic engineering point of view the function and stability of the respective sheet pile wall is not impaired.
