Die Fassung besteht aus Kunststoff mit einem Aussengewinde E 2 7" [Stand der Technik] und einem Innengewinde E 14 [Stand der Technik].Diese beiden Gewinde bilden eine Einheit und ist mit einem Rand zum ein- und ausschrauben in ein E 2 7 gewinde versehen.Das Innengewindehat unten eine Öffnung damit der untere Pol der eingeschraubten Glühbirne [E 14 Gewinde] hier austritt und Kontakt mit dem Gegenpol in der Lampenfassung vom E 2 7 Gewinde bekommt.
