The invention relates to a clock with a clockwork, dial and hands.

Analogue time measuring instruments, which include a movement, dial and hands, are known in a wide variety of designs and shapes. All such clocks have the disadvantage that they are made available to the user as finished products that do not allow any individual modifications or configurations by the user that could improve the utility of a clock for the user.

The invention is based on the object of proposing a clock with a clockwork, dial and hands, which can be manufactured and assembled in the form of a kit, whereby the opportunity is given to insert a clock part when assembling the clock, which is selected, supplied and installed by the user of the clock.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a plate-shaped clock face made of transparent material, a support plate of the same size attached to it at a distance and running parallel to it, and an image plate of the same size in the form of a photograph, a drawing, a painting, a mosaic, etc., accommodated in the space between the clock face and the support plate, whereby the clockwork is attached to the free outside of the support plate and is connected to the hour and minute hands arranged on the free outside of the clock face via drive axles passing through the support plate and the clock face.

For convenience, four connecting screws connecting the dial and the support plate are arranged at the 12 ^o'clock , 6, 9 and 3 o'clock positions.

An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, approximately in natural size.

The clock shown in the drawing comprises a plate-shaped dial 1 made of transparent material, to which a support plate 3 of the same size, preferably made of opaque material, is attached at a distance and running parallel to it in such a way that there is a free space between the dial 1 and the support plate 3 in which an image plate 2 of the same size selected by the user can be accommodated.

The image plate 2 may consist of a photograph, a drawing, a painting, a mosaic or other pictorial representation.

As shown in Figure 1, the image plate 2 consists of a photograph showing the user of the watch and his girlfriend. Such an image will continue to evoke positive feelings even after a long time in the viewer of the watch who wants to read the time on it, which is indicated by the position of the hour hand 7 and the minute hand 8.

For practical purposes, the dial 1 and the support plate 3 are connected to one another by four connecting screws 10, 11, 12 and 13, which are visible on the front and are arranged at the digit positions 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock. The other digits are omitted in order not to disturb the pictorial representation of the image plate 2:.

As shown in Figure 2, the minute hand 8 is connected via the fastening screw 9 and the drive shaft 6 and the hour hand 7 is connected via the drive shaft 5 to the clockwork 4, which is arranged on the free outer side of the support plate 3.

The dial 1 and the support plate 3 are provided with corresponding central openings 16, 16 for the passage of the drive axles 5 and 6.

The clockwork 4 may contain the electric battery 15' and is also equipped with a hanging hook 14 at its upper end so that the clock can be hung and used as a wall clock on a nail driven into a wall.

The clock described consists of a few simple components and gives every user the opportunity to insert a picture plate of their own choosing, which either shows their own image or that of a loved one or a landscape. Such a clock offers the excellent opportunity to serve as a good gift after inserting a suitable picture plate, with the recipient being depicted in some way on the picture plate.

There is also the opportunity to exchange the image plate for another image plate when the attraction of a first image plate has diminished. The first image plate can then be replaced by a new image plate with a stronger current attraction.

Watch with movement, dial and hands, characterized by - a plate-shaped dial ( 1 ) made of transparent material, - a support plate of the same size attached to it at a distance and running parallel to it, ( 3 ) and - an image plate ( 2 ) of the same size in the form of a photograph, a drawing, a painting, a mosaic or the like, housed in the space between the dial ( 1 ) and the support plate ( 3 ), - wherein the clockwork ( 4 , 15 ) is attached to the free outside of the support plate ( 3 ) and - is connected to the hour ( 7 ) and minute hands ( 8 ) arranged on the free outer side of the dial ( 1 ) via drive shafts ( 5 , 6 ) passing through the support plate ( 3 ) and the dial ( 1 ). 2. Clock according to claim 1, characterized in that four connecting screws ( 10 , 11 , 12 , 13 ) connecting the dial ( 1 ) and the support plate ( 3 ) are arranged at the number locations 12 , 6 , 9 and 3 . 3. Clock according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the clockwork ( 4 , 15 ) has a suspension hook ( 14 ).
