Game structure:

On an inner chessboard with edge rows surrounding the chessboard like a frame, the inner eight squares of the edge rows below, above, to the right and to the left of the inner chessboard are numbered from "A" to "H" and from "1" to "8" according to the chess diagram. Gameplay:

The opening possibilities and rules and the rules for moving with and from the individual pieces in the game "Double Strike Chess" are identical to the rules of chess.

However, if an opponent's piece is captured, the symbolic piece on the captured opponent's sub-piece must be replaced by a symbolic piece of the player's own color at the same hierarchy level as the successfully attacking symbolic piece by exchanging heads, as long as it is still present in the player's own depot, i.e. among the 15 symbolic pieces on the fields of the edge rows.
