Tool for pushing and removing thumbtacks

Description

The tool is suitable for all sizes and shapes of drawing pins, drawing board pins and thumbtacks made of magnetic material. It is useful when using individual pins but especially when attaching larger quantities efficiently.

Today, thumbtacks are usually pressed in with the thumb. The following problems can arise: The use of the smallest muscles of the thumb, in some cases in hard-to-reach places, is ergonomically unfavorable.

Depending on the quality of the thumbtack, the pin can sometimes push through the nail plate and injure the thumb. On hard surfaces, a hammer must be used, which often bends the thumbtacks.

When large quantities of pins are applied at the same time, longer transport times occur from the container to the point of use. Inappropriate, dangerous tools are often used to remove the pins.

The invention consists in a handy handle containing a permanent magnet for holding and aligning the drawing pins, and in the same handle there is a specially shaped blade for removing the nails.

The surfaces of the handle can serve as advertising media.

The advantage of the tool is that

• with a secure grip, the full force of the arm can be used to press into any hardness of the surface, a supply of pins is always available at the point of use,

no injury is possible,

No more drawing pins will become unusable due to bending, no more dangerous tools will be used to remove pins.

Explanation of the drawing:

Fig.l and 2, number 1 is a rubber ring that separates the unordered drawing pins from the adjusted individual pin. Number 2 is the magnet shaft that holds the pin supply in place.
