Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Kaschierkleber für Teppichboden mit einem Vlies- oder Geweberücken, Polyesterharz enthaltend.The present invention relates to a laminating adhesive for carpet with a nonwoven or fabric backing, containing polyester resin.
Derartige Teppichboden weisen üblicherweise einen Teppichflor aus Kunst- oder Wollfasern, auch Polmaterial genannt, auf, der in einem sogenannten Tufting-Verfahren in einer Tragschicht in Form eines Vlieses oder Gewebes verankert wird. Zur Polfixierung und Filamenteinbindung wird ein Vorstrich aus Natur-Latex oder synthetischen Latices von unten auf die Tragschicht aufgetragen. Nach dem Trocknen des Vorstrichs erfolgt dann der Auftrag eines Klebestrichs zur festen Anbindung einer Rückenschicht an die übrigen Schichten des Teppichbodens.Such carpets usually have a carpet pile made of synthetic or wool fibers, also known as pile material, which is anchored in a base layer in the form of a fleece or fabric using a so-called tufting process. Nachteilig an den Teppichboden der zuerst genannten Art ist, daß der Vorstrich aus Natur-Latex bzw. aus synthetischen Latices besteht. Zur Vermeidung der oben genannten Nachteile wurde ein Polyesterharzpulver in der Applikation als Schmelzkleber entwickelt. Polyesterharz ist selbst emissionsarm und vermeidet den Einsatz eines Vorstrichs, hat aber den sehr großen Nachteil, daß seine Applikation als Schmelzkleber auf den bestehenden Fertigungsanlagen der Teppichindustrie nicht möglich ist. Es müßten also völlig neue Anlagen mit sehr hohen Investitionskosten erstellt werden. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß der Kaschierkleber aus einem Polyesterharzpulver in Dispersionsform besteht. Die mit diesem Kaschierkleber produzierten Teppichböden sind in ihrem Eigenschaftsbild vergleichbar mit den bisher bekannten Varianten auf der Basis Styrol-Butadien-Latex/Polyethylen. Sie haben darüber hinaus den Vorteil, daß sie im Ein-Strich-Verfahren hergestellt werden können und zudem emissionsarm sind.This task is solved by the fact that the laminating adhesive consists of a polyester resin powder in dispersion form.
