Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine wasserlösliche Stickerei-Fixiereinlage.The invention relates to a water-soluble embroidery fixing insert.
Embroidery inserts are used to a large extent to stabilize the embroidery base material used in embroidery machines. The embroidery insert is used as reinforcement together with the basic material in the Embroidery machine clamped and embroidered together with the embroidery material. In the simplest case, the embroidery insert becomes after the embroidery separated again so that it is torn from the base material. That remains a rest of the insert under the embroidery on the base material. This Remaining deposits cause the embroidered area to harden. For more sensitive embroidery or embroidery designed in relief soluble inserts are used, which after the embroidery process Resolution can be removed. From document DE-A 43 43 230 is a Method for producing relief-like embroidery is known, in which a water-soluble gelatin foil is placed on the fabric material, the Embroidery is performed on the gelatin foil and the fabric material that embroidered material to remove the gelatin foil dipped in water and is then dried. The well-known embroidery inlays have the disadvantage that with thin, very elastic embroidery base materials already the plane-parallel folding of embroidery base and embroidery insert by slipping or rolling Problems. Furthermore, the clamping of the stick base alone and embroidery inlays in very wide large embroidery machines is a problem which is due in particular to the different stretching behavior of both Materials caused or reinforced. During the stick reason the stabilizing embroidery insert is intended to be highly elastic not intended to be elastic. Additional problems arise if it is necessary to retension during the embroidery process. You can embroidery base and embroidery insert move against each other, what after Completion of the embroidery process and washing of the embroidery insert distortion of the embroidery pattern. Although document WO 99/56519 a process for the manufacture of embroidery products and the like suitable carrier webs are known, in which the embroidery ground through Liquid coating is stabilized with a water-soluble glue, but the low achievable layer thickness only allows the production of Embroidery goods with a low relief structure.
The object of the invention is a water-soluble embroidery fixing insert specify which can be fixed on a stick base, that the aforementioned problems are avoided.
According to the invention the object is achieved by a water-soluble embroidery fixing insert which consists of a water-soluble nonwoven fabric with a basis weight of 20 to 120 g / m 2 , which is coated with a water-soluble, thermoplastic polymer as an adhesive. Such an embroidery fixing insert can be connected to the embroidery base in a manner known per se, for example by hot lamination. The fixation of the elastic embroidery material through the stabilizing, full-surface fixed embroidery fixing insert prevents the webs from slipping when clamping and results in improved stability for the embroidery process. At the same time, this reduces the need for re-tensioning or the embroidery base and the embroidery insert can no longer slide against one another when re-tensioning. Since both the embroidery fixing insert and the adhesive compound applied to it are water-soluble, no hardening substances remain in the embroidery material produced therewith.
The embroidery fixing insert is preferably one in which the adhesive compound is made modified (co) polyamides, polyvinyl alcohols, and / or (co) polyesters consists. The aforementioned polymers are modified in such a way that they are water soluble. This makes them removable from the embroidered good guaranteed together with the embroidery fixation insert.
The embroidery fixing insert is preferably one in which the water-soluble nonwoven consists of a polyvinyl alcohol nonwoven. Such Nonwovens have both in terms of strength requirements also proven in terms of subsequent removability by washing. A usable for the embroidery fixing insert according to the invention Base material is described, for example, in document JP 11/286859 described.
An embroidery fixing insert is particularly preferred, in which both the Nonwoven as well as the adhesive at temperatures from 10 to 40 ° C are water soluble. The water solubility of the nonwoven and the adhesive in the specified temperature range allow an energetically favorable Removal after embroidery. Furthermore, it can also heat or hot water sensitive embroidery threads and / or embroidery grounds are used become.
An embroidery fixation insert in which the modification is particularly preferred in an ethoxylation of the (co) polyamides and / or (co) polyesters or in a degree of saponification of the polyvinyl alcohol> 95%. The appropriate modification of the polymers used as adhesive leads to make them water soluble.
According to the invention, there is the method for producing the embroidery fixing insert in that the water-soluble, thermoplastic adhesive on the water-soluble nonwoven fabric by sprinkle coating, hot melt application, Laminate with one of the water-soluble, thermoplastic polymer produced spunbonded fabric or by directly spinning the water-soluble, thermoplastic polymer on the base material used nonwoven are applied. Through the procedures mentioned, will receive an embroidery fixation pad, which is easy to use, such as Example hot calendering, which can be fixed on a stick base.
The adhesive with the nonwoven is preferably sintered connected. This creates a firm bond between the embroidery fixation insert and Adhesive mass achieved in terms of technological requirements Storage, transport and application takes into account.
The invention is described in more detail using two examples.
5,2 N/5cm.A thermally bonded nonwoven fabric made from cold water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVAL) staple fibers with a basis weight of approx. 40 g / m 2 was used as the base material for the embroidery fixing insert. The PVAL fibers were produced using the gel spinning process and had a strength of 4 g / denier. A cold water-soluble spunbonded nonwoven made of ethoxylated polyamide (NP2116 from HF Fuller) was laminated onto this base material as an adhesive. The lamination process was carried out at 130 ° C for 15 s at 3 bar in a fixing press.
The finished embroidery fixing insert was connected to an elastic embroidery base at 130 ° C. The combination of embroidery fixing insert and embroidery base has a peel strength between the embroidery fixing insert and embroidery base of 5.2 N / 5cm.
Die fertige Stickerei-Fixiereinlage kann bei 135°C thermisch mit einem elastischen Stickgrund zusammen laminiert werden.14 g / m 2 of a water-soluble PVAL powder (Schaettifix 699 from Schaetti) are applied to a base material according to Example 1 as an adhesive with a scattering unit. The adhesive is sintered in the infrared oven and intimately bonded to the base material in the oven outlet using press rollers. The finished embroidery fixing insert can be thermally laminated together with an elastic embroidery base at 135 ° C.
