Derartige Instrumente eignen sich jedoch nicht immer für die Musik- bzw. Klangtherapie, namentlich dann, wenn ihre Bedienung und Handhabung für den Patienten oder für den Therapeuten zu kompliziert und aufwendig ist. Das Spielen des Instruments ist allerdings nur durch den Therapeuten möglich, da die Saiten für den Patienten - wenn überhaupt - nur mühsam erreichbar sind. Das in Fig. 1 dargestellte, allgemein mit 10 bezeichnete Musikinstrument ist als Klangwiege ausgebildet. Es hat einen Grundkörper 12 in Form einer zylinderförmigen Halbschale aus schichtverleimtem Massivholz sowie außenseitig an den Seiten aufgespannte Saiten 22 als Schallerzeuger. Die Halbschale 12 umschließt in ihrer Funktion als Raumkörper ein Aufnahmevolumen 14, dessen Abmessungen derart gewählt sind, daß sich eine oder mehrere (nicht dargestellte) Personen P hineinlegen, -stellen oder -setzen können (vergl. Fig. 3 und 4). Die Saiten 22 verlaufen jeweils parallel zu den linearen Grenzkanten 16 der Halbschale 12. Sie sind an Wirbein 20 aus Metall befestigt, die in endseitig angebrachten Versteifungsplatten 18 der Halbschale 12 eingelassen sind.
