The invention relates to an individual cattle pen device, in particular for pig breeding, whose individual cattle pens are separated by side walls, the side walls at the pen entrance each have a pivoting door leaf of a door and are limited at the opposite end by a feeding trough.

From DE-OS 2756 788, an individual cattle pen device is known, in particular for pig breeding, in which the individual pens are separated from one another by side walls. At each end of the side walls facing the pen entrance, a vertical axis of rotation is arranged, around which door leaves with a circular or straight cross-section are pivotably hinged. The door leaves have hinge points that pivotally connect the door leaves to an associated longitudinal bar. When the door is closed, these longitudinal bars cover the individual cattle pen at the top so that no cattle, especially pigs, can jump out of the pen. The other end of the longitudinal bar is connected to a cross member near the feeding trough. One end of the cross member is pivotally hinged to a side wall. The other end of the cross member extends into a recess in the opposite side wall, which forms the guide for the cross member. The length of the recess determines the pivoting range of the cross member. If a caregiver, such as a veterinarian or an insemination technician, wants to enter a pen, the crossbar is swiveled to the stop by a lever, whereby the two longitudinal bars swing the two door wings apart and are swiveled with the door wings towards the side walls. This individual cattle pen device has the disadvantage that when the door wings are opened, the cover of the individual cattle pen by the longitudinal bars is removed. Another disadvantage is that the individual cattle pen has a constant width, which means that there is a possibility that

the animal can turn towards the door in the individual cattle pen, which is unfavourable for its care.

The object of the invention is to develop an individual cattle pen device of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which the individual cattle, in particular breeding pigs, remain in the individual cattle pen in the direction of entry and the barrier against the cattle jumping out is not removed by opening the door.

According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the side walls each consist of a braced frame, the frames of the individual cattle pen are held next to each other at a parallel and adjustable distance by means of spring tubes on the front half of the individual cattle pen and by means of a feed trough barrier on the front end wall of the individual cattle pen, a lower frame part of the frame is bent upwards towards the door after approximately half the length of the pen and then guided parallel to the stable floor so that the hind legs of the individual cattle do not rest against the frame when lying down, and the two door leaves can be locked in the closed position and can be pivoted and fastened by 90 degrees on both sides from the closed position.

It is advantageous that the struts of the frame are arranged vertically and so closely that the individual cattle cannot swing their head out of the frame in order to try to turn in the individual cattle pen, which is adapted to the width of the body.

A further embodiment of the invention consists in that a frame part of the frame is bent downwards after the last spring tube to the height of the door and runs parallel to the upwardly bent lower frame part to the vertical frame part on which a door leaf is arranged in a lockable manner.

The invention is explained in more detail below using an example. In the accompanying drawing, Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of an individual cattle pen device. The side walls of an individual cattle pen are formed by two parallel frames 1 next to each other. The frame 1 is braced. The mounting tubes 2 and the feed trough barriers 3 of the trough 4 stabilize the frames 1 in their parallel distance from each other. After the first frame 1, the other frames 1 can be moved in their distance from each other so that the width of the pen in this individual cattle pen device can be varied. The frames 1 are bent out of their parallel course approximately halfway along the length of the pen in the direction of the door, which is formed by two door leaves 6, with the frame 1 being bent upwards from the stable floor 5 and being bent downwards after the last mounting tube 2. The downward bend is so far that the door height is reached. The lower bend runs so far upwards that the individual animal does not support itself with its hind legs on the frame 1 when lying down. In practice, the hind legs are pushed under the frame 1. So that the individual animal cannot turn around in the pen, the struts 7 in the front part of the frame 1 are placed so close together that the individual animal cannot swing its head out of the frame 1. It remains in its entry position. In the direction of the door, each frame 1 is stabilized in its horizontal position by a support 8.

One person is sufficient to look after the individual cattle. The frame part raised from the stable floor 5 guarantees that the individual cattle lie in the individual cattle pen in a way that is appropriate for the animals. The struts 7 not only prevent the individual cattle from turning, but also prevent the animals from biting out of the individual cattle pen.
