BeschreibungDescription
Strategy game for two players with a game board made up of playing fields in the shape of isosceles triangles and with game pieces in the shape of isosceles tetrahedra.
A strategy game in the narrowest sense is subject to the requirements set by the classic games of chess, checkers or Halma: two players face each other and try to implement their own winning strategy move by move and to react to the opponent's strategy or to anticipate it in order to avoid defeat. The player is particularly challenged in terms of his ability to concentrate, his imagination, intuition and experience.
The invention is based on the problem of developing a strategy-driven game with optical and tactile stimuli for two players.
This problem is solved with the features listed in the protective speeches.
An embodiment is explained using figures 1 to 3.

Figure 1 shows a playing surface consisting of 24 isosceles triangles arranged in a hexagon (for players with a greater understanding of the game, playing surfaces with more, e.g. 54 fields, are more suitable). Each player receives 6 of the game pieces shown in Figure 2. The game pieces are placed opposite each other in the fields marked with a cross. Special instructions concerning the placement of the game pieces themselves are not considered here.
The game pieces are made in two different colors or materials to make it possible to distinguish between your own and the opponent's pieces. The 4 surfaces of a game piece are assigned the values 1, 2, 3 and 4, which can be recognized in the form of numbers (Fig. 1). The values have a double meaning for the game. Firstly, they determine the way in which the game piece can be moved, and secondly, whether a game piece hits an adjacent opponent's piece or not.
(Figur 2 und 3 zeigen sich voneinander unterscheidende Spielsteine!)The basic geometric shape of the game piece means that there are two variations for the arrangement of the values on the surfaces: If you only look at three of the values used, you will see that they can be arranged clockwise and counterclockwise. This principle leads to two different game pieces that are available to the player in equal parts. (Figures 2 and 3 show different game pieces!)
The aim of the game is to capture all of your opponent’s pieces.
Figure 3 shows a game piece in all phases of a possible move. The piece is shown in an abstract top view. The numbers in the triangles represent the value of the surfaces of the game piece. The circled numbers indicate the surface on which the game piece stands. The numbers on the edges of the triangles indicate the value of the surfaces above.
The value indicates how often the piece can be moved in the direction of the respective area within one turn by tipping it over the edge into the adjacent field. The illustration in Figure 3 shows how a piece that is on the 1 is tipped four times in the direction of the area with the 4. After the first tip, the direction of further movement is irrelevant, but the piece cannot be tipped backwards. In the example, the piece is first tipped three times to the left and then once forwards. It finally comes to rest on the 4, with the 2 pointing backwards, the 3 to the right and the 1 to the left.
If the piece comes to a stop in a field that borders on one occupied by an opponent's piece, the piece with the higher value on the facing surfaces beats the one with the lower value. The beaten piece is removed from the playing surface, the hitting piece remains in its position. If the values are the same, both pieces remain in their positions. If the occupied field is bordered by two opponent's pieces, the same rules apply, so a piece can beat two pieces at the same time, beat one and be beaten by the other, be in a stalemate with both, etc.
To simplify the process of tipping the pieces, the playing fields should be separated from each other by small bridges. These prevent the pieces from slipping and provide a support for the tipping movement. As a result, the piece only needs to be tipped in the desired direction in order to come to a perfect stop in the adjacent field.
The values described on the sides of the game pieces can be expressed by numbers as in the example or by suitable symbols.
