Leuchtfolien,oder El-Folien genannt,sind gundsätzlich Leuchtkondensatorn.( Elektrolumineszenzsysteme ) Durch anlegen einer Wechselspannung an die beiden Elektroden, wobei eine lichtdurchlässig ist,werden die Leuchtkristalle im Dielektrikum zum Leuchten angeregt.Luminous foils, or EL foils, are basically luminous capacitors. Problemproblem

Um unteschiedliche Formen und Flächen,oder verschieden farbige Flächen in eine einzige Folie unterzubringen,die dann je nach Ansteuerung leuchten,waren einzelne El-Folien nötig,der jeweils gewünschten Fläche oder Farbe!
Es ist unhandlich,störanfällig nicht effektiv.
