Eyeglass frame with snap lock

Many people who wear glasses like to use a glasses cord or a glasses chain.

With their help, you don't have to put your glasses in a case, hold them in your hand or put them down somewhere every time you take them off, even for a short time, but can simply leave them hanging.

The use of a glasses cord would certainly find even more supporters if it were freed from the below mentioned inconveniences.

The connections known so far using a rubber ring or a clamp have the following disadvantages:

a) both hold the temples of the glasses from all sides. The constant pressure from the inside on the temple is uncomfortable and painful in the long run.

b) to avoid this, the connection can be pushed forward, which means that the cord or chain comes into view and is perceived as disturbing

c) Connecting and disconnecting the rubber rings takes quite a long time, so that when needed, the glasses are often put into the case with the cord or chain, which leads to the lenses becoming dirty and scratched.

The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem of creating a spectacle frame that enables the use of a spectacle cord or spectacle chain without any hindrances.

This problem is solved with the features listed in claim 1.

The invention ensures that the connection of the spectacle frame to the spectacle cord or chain does not cause pressure on the temple or obstruction to vision.

A snap lock makes it possible to quickly connect or disconnect the cord or chain to the glasses frame.

This means that the user no longer has to put the glasses together with the cord or chain into the case, but can simply leave the cord hanging.

The slot (4) and the matching projection (5) on the back of the lock pins can be used to connect the cord ends so that the cord will no longer fall down and can even be used as jewelry.
