Eine wichtige Anforderung an derartige Produkte besteht darin, daß sie einen hohen Tragekomfort und eine gute Hautverträglichkeit bei sehr hohem Saugvermögen aufweisen müssen. Da derartige Produkte nach dem Gebrauch als Müll entsorgt werden müssen, wurde in jüngerer Zeit verstärkt auch die Forderung nach einer möglichst guten biologischen Abbaubarkeit erhoben, so daß solche Produkte vorzugsweise kompostierbar sein sollen.An important requirement for such products is that they must be very comfortable to wear and be well tolerated by the skin, with a very high absorbency. Gegenüber diesen vorbekannten Verfahren liegt der Erfindung die Erkenntnis zugrunde, daß bei Produkten der in Befracht stehenden Art von entscheidender Bedeutung die Auswahl des Ausgangsproduktes ist, d.h. daß man nicht ein beliebiges lignin-haltiges Ausgangsprodukt, welches gerade in hinreichender Menge, wie Holz, verfügbar ist, verwendet, sondern ein solches Ausgangsprodukt, welches auch dem fertigen Cellulose-Produkt die für die Anwendung als Hygieneprodukt wichtigen Eigenschaften verleiht.The processes mentioned are extremely problematic due to serious waste water and exhaust air problems.
