Abstract
1. A method for manufacturing an electric heater element, in particular a tubular heater by welding a heater winding to a terminal stud having a conically tapering tip at its end extending into the tubular heater, characterized by the combination of the following features : a) sliding the heater winding (5) onto a cylindrical section (4) adjoining the conically tapering tip, b) welding the heater winding (5) to the cylindrical section (4) by means of non-contacting beam-welding technique.
