Abstract

A series of household inner wall sub-plaster water-mixing fittings (8) make use of identical housings (2) holding a variety of cartridge-like inserts and adapters (4). The universal housings have cold and hot water inlets (10, 12) from the household supply, and an outlet (14) for the resultant mix of hot and cold water for subsequent discharge to e.g. a bath or shower. The cartridge adapter is inserted in a recess (28) in the universal housing. The housing water inlets and outlet are linked to the respective inlets and outlets in the cartridge adapter insert. These inlets and outlets are linked as required by ring chambers (38,40) to the cartridge adapter openings. The respective cartridge (6) is inserted in a cartridge recess (48) in the respective adapter.

Claims (9)

1. Mehrzahl von sanitären Mischarmaturen, insbesondere Unterputz-Mischarmaturen, die jeweils ein Anschlußge­ häuse sowie eine Kartusche umfassen, die die wasser­ steuernden Elemente enthält, wobei im Wasserweg vom Anschlußgehäuse zu der Kartusche ein Adapter vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
  • a) die sanitären Mischarmaturen (8; 108) als ein Satz von Mischarmaturen ausgebildet sind;
  • b) die Anschlußgehäuse aller zum Satz gehörenden Misch­ armaturen identisch als Universalgehäuse (2; 102) mit identischen Wasseranschlußöffnungen ausgebildet sind;
  • c) die Kartuschen (6; 106) aller zum Satz gehörenden Misch­ armaturen untereinander insbesondere hinsichtlich ihrer Wasseranschlußöffnungen unterschiedlich sind;
  • d) die Adapter (4; 104) aller zum Satz gehörenden Misch­ armaturen (8; 108) als Kartuschenadapter unmittelbar zwischen Universalgehäuse (2; 102) und Kartuschen (6; 106) angeordnet sind.
  • e) die Adapter (4; 104) aller zum Satz gehörenden Misch­ armaturen (8; 108) untereinander insbesondere in der Weise unterschiedlich sind, daß sie unterschied­ liche, zu den Wasseranschlußöffnungen der Kartuschen im Satz passende innere Wasserein- und ausgänge, jedoch identische, zu den adapterseitigen Wasseran­ schlußöffnungen des Universalgehäuses passende äußere Wasserein- und ausgänge aufweisen;

  • e) the adapters ( 4 ; 104 ) of all mixing fittings belonging to the set ( 8 ; 108 ) differ from one another in particular in such a way that they have different internal water inlets and outlets that match the water connection openings of the cartridges in the set, but identical, have matching external water inlets and outlets for the adapter-side water connection openings of the universal housing;

Mehrzahl von sanitären Mischarmaturen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei jeder Mischarmatur des Satzes mindestens eine der Strömungsverbindungen zwischen dem Universalgehäuse (2; 102) und dem jewei­ ligen Kartuschenadapter (4; 104) über einen Ringraum (38, 40; 138, 140) erfolgt, welcher zwischen der Umfangs­ fläche der Aufnahmebohrung (28; 128) des Universalge­ häuses (2; 102) und der Umfangsfläche des jeweiligen Kartuschenadapters (4; 104) ausgebildet ist.2.
