In everyday life, in closed rooms, an air atmosphere inevitably arises that is contaminated with all kinds of smells, germs, dust and other components. The smells are caused by smoking, as well as body odors, smells from fabrics, chemicals and other materials in the room, exhaust fumes, etc. The aim is to remove or tone down the air odors, which is largely based on natural substances. In addition to the deodorizing effect, the healing effect of the process is also in the foreground. The interior of a motor vehicle is used as an example below. However, the devices are suitable for all closed rooms.

Problem solution and content of the invention

The healing and well-being-promoting effects of certain essential oils are known from the science of aromatherapy. Based on previous research and experience in the field of aromatherapy, it can be determined that certain aromatic substances have an effect on both the psyche and the physical body. The oils contribute, for example, to disinfection (e.g. clove oil), to calming allergies (e.g. Niaouli oil), to colds and respiratory problems (e.g. eucalyptus oil, mint oil, coriander oil, etc.) and are used in many other areas, including allopathic and homeopathic remedies. In contrast to conventional deodorant sprays and fragrance dispensers that use fragrances dissolved in alcohol, especially artificial aromas, pure essential oils are used here. In addition to deodorization, this invention also aims to achieve natural disinfection through the use of appropriate oils and a gradual revitalization of the body and the development of the body's own defenses. On the one hand, a general remedy is offered for certain everyday illnesses such as colds through the use of essential oils that clear the respiratory tract and relieve allergies, and on the other hand, scented oils are used that have a positive effect on the psyche, such as reducing aggression, increasing attention and promoting general well-being.

The device has a dosing control that releases a limited amount of oil in a preselected period of time.

Following the findings from aromatherapy, a device is defined here that consists of a container made of plastic, glass or other suitable materials. An air flow is generated through the oil mixture, or the air is charged with the oil mixture. This is done by a micro pump spraying a certain amount of the oil mixture into the air at regular intervals or releasing it onto a filter-like material (distribution mat). The air is guided through the distribution mat into the room using a fan. This is where the oil takes effect.

Although this primarily refers to small, closed air spaces, the device can also be used in larger and partly open spaces (e.g. exhibition stands).

To achieve an improved effect, either the oil or the air that is sucked in can be preheated. This is achieved by a built-in heating coil or the air preheated by the heater is sucked in and passed through the device.

The compositions of the oils for different applications are also applied for as pattern protection. These oil mixtures are recorded in an addendum and submitted as a supplement to the application. 100% pure natural essential oils in accordance with DAB (German Pharmacopoeia) are used. The components are disclosed in accordance with the labeling requirement. The mixing ratios, concentrations and carrier oils are applied for as part of the device under this application as worthy of protection without making them known expresis verbis. By selecting the carriers that absorb the fragrance mixture, a long-term effect with a very subtle aroma spread is achieved.

The aim of the aromatherapy fan presented here is to help drivers to concentrate more in traffic and thus contribute to reducing accidents on the streets and motorways. The therapy and the beneficial effects of the aroma substances can be continued at home and at work, thereby achieving a positive overall effect.

Different essential oil mixtures and devices are used for different applications and circumstances. The special devices can vary depending on the application, but the principle for which design protection is sought here remains intact.

In Appendix 1, the version for a car (compact version) is presented as a functional sketch and in Appendix 2 as a functional description. There are also many possible designs that are not described in detail here. However, it is requested that these, in accordance with the basic idea, be considered worthy of protection and be included in this application.

The aromatherapy fan consists of two parts. A device for dispensing an essential oil in different versions for different areas of application and an oil mixture with different components, each of which has a specific effect.

For the electrical voltage, a power supply unit with an input voltage of 12V DC, 220V AC or 110V AC and an output voltage of 12V is installed in the device or connected as an external power supply unit. This electrical part has the task of operating a pump at intervals set via the pre-selector switch and thus introducing the amount of oil set via another switch into the natural fiber evaporator or distribution mat. At the same time, the fan is started and remains in operation for a predetermined time and then switches off or is switched on at intervals until the device is switched off.

The oil can be dispensed directly into the air flow of the vehicle's ventilation. For this, a hose from the aromatherapy fan is attached in front of the air outlet gate in the vehicle and fixed there. The pump described here will necessarily have a higher output and pulse duration so that a fine oil mixture mist is released through a net-like end cap of the hose. This mist is immediately captured by the air flow of the vehicle's ventilation and spread throughout the vehicle's interior.

The advantage of the device is that the dosage can be adjusted depending on the occupancy of the vehicle using the previously mentioned selector switch. The aromatherapy fan receives its power from the ignition, so that when the engine is switched off, the device switches off automatically.

The valve (6) works with a simple lip, which is pushed upwards by the pressure in the liquid when the solenoid pump (5) moves forwards and the oil flows downwards. During the backwards movement, a vacuum is created and the pressure of the oil in the tank (4) closes the valve. A precise seal is not required, so this measure is sufficient. Instead of the lip, a ball or cone made of steel with a pin can be used. The pin is lifted by the pump piston during the forwards movement and during the backwards movement it falls back into the opening under its own weight and closes it. The position is ensured by design measures.

In another version, the device can have several tanks with different oil mixtures. Using another switch, the user can select the aromatherapy they require.
