Die Erfindung betrifft ein beieuchtbares Leuchtkennzeichen mit einer Symbolanzeige.The invention relates to an illuminated license plate with a symbol display.
Leuchtwegsysteme sind bekannt zur Verwendung als Orientierungshilfe für Notfälle in gefährdeten Räumen in z. B. Schiffen, Gebäuden, Bahnhöfen, Flugzeugen und dgl.. Hier werden z. B. passive Leuchtwegsysteme eingesetzt, die eine streifen- und plattenförmige Schicht nachleuchtenden Materials aufweisen. Dieses Leuchtwegsysteme haben den Nachteil, daß die Leuchtintensität begrenzt ist und die Nachleuchtfähigkeit nach einem gewissen Zeitraum erlischt. Es werden deshalb auch aktiv leuchtende Leuchtwegsysteme eingesetzt, bei denen die Leuchtwege durch Leuchtanzeigen wie z. B. lichtemittierende Dioden gebildet werden, die durch Streifen aus einem lichtdurchlässigen Material abgedeckt sind. Der Nachteil dieser bekannten aktiven Leuchtwegsysteme besteht darin, daß sie im Einsatz unflexibel sind, da sie nur ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden können. Bei auf dem Boden angeordneten Systemen besteht ein weiterer Nachteil darin, daß die Abdeckprofile der Leuchtstreifenprofile, die aus Polyvenylchlorid bestehen, relativ schnell durch Begehen zerkratzt werden, wodurch Lichtveriuste entstehen. Es ist auch bekannt, nachleuchtende oder beleuchtbare Leuchtkennzeichen als Einzelelemente einzusetzen. Die bekannten beleuchtbaren Leuchtkennzeichen haben aufgrund ihrer graphischen Gestaltung den Nachteil, daß sie eine Mehrzahl von Lichtquellen wie z. B. lichtemittierende Dioden erfordern, um das anzuzeigende Symbol optisch wirksam werden zu lassen. Hierdurch ist der Energieverbrauch relativ hoch, was in Notfällen, wenn nur noch eine Notstromversorgung einsatzbereit ist, kritisch werden kann, da die Leistungsfähigkeit der Notstrombatterien begrenzt ist.Light path systems are known for use as orientation aids for emergencies in endangered areas, e.g. ships, buildings, train stations, airplanes, etc. Passive light path systems are used here, for example, which have a strip and plate-shaped layer of luminescent material. Das in Fig. 1 dargestellte Leuchtkennzeichen 1 besteht aus einer aus Acryl bestehenden Kunststoffolie 3, an deren Unterseite 4 das abzubildende Symbol durch ausgefräste Nuten ausgebildet ist. Es ist aber auch möglich, das abzubildende Symbol auf die Kunststoffolie 3 aufzudrucken. An der einen Seitenkante 6 sind vier lichtemittierende Dioden 7 angeordnet. Das Leuchtkennzeichen 1 kann durch eine Abdeckkappe 10 oder 11 abgedeckt werden. Die Abdeckkappe 10 weist seitlich Lippen 12 auf, um einen angrenzenden Boden- oder Wandbelag abzudecken. An der Unterseite 14 der Abdeckkappen 10, 11 sind seitlich Klemmstege 13 angeordnet, mittels derer die Abdeckkappen 10, 11 mit dem in Fig. 2 dargestellten Rahmen 8 in lösbaren Wirkeingriff bringbar sind.The illuminated sign 1 shown in Fig. 1 consists of a plastic film 3 made of acrylic, on the underside 4 of which the symbol to be displayed is formed by milled grooves.
