Cup construction

The invention relates to a cup construction, in particular a construction in which the detachable lid of the cup does not fall off during use and the lid can also serve as a saucer and an insertable suction tube can be used during drinking.

It is known that a conventional cup construction may have a cup body and a lid which are completely separate from each other.

With this traditional design, the lid is often lost due to the user's oversight. In this case, the user often cannot get the lid separately and has to buy a new set of cups. Very often the old cup is thrown away, thus contributing to environmental pollution, which is considered a major problem today.

In the cup construction according to the invention, the cup body and the lid are connected to one another via a connecting cord. For this purpose, the bow-shaped cup handle can be slotted lengthwise and the connecting cord, which protrudes freely through the longitudinal slot, can be provided with a plastic head at its end that does not fit through the longitudinal slot. A small opening is provided in the lid, which is normally closed with a plug, and this plug is attached to the edge of the lid via a connecting cord.

In Figure 1, the cup construction according to the invention is shown in perspective. The cup construction has a cup-shaped cup body 2 and a lid 1. On top of the lid 1, a small opening 10 is formed, which is normally closed with a plastic plug for heating and sealing, which is attached to the underside of the edge of the lid via a connecting cord or a connecting web. In the embodiment 1 in Figures 1 and 2, the lid 1 is first placed on the cup body 2 and then the plastic stopper 11 of the lid 1 is pulled out and finally a suction tube 3 is inserted into the opening 10 of the lid 1. This allows you to drink without spilling the drink.

In the embodiment 2 in Figure 3, the lid 1 is first turned over and then the protruding part 14 of the lid is directed towards the base part 22 of the cup body 2 and inserted into the recess corresponding to the protruding part 14 of the lid, so that the lid 1 now serves as a saucer for the cup body 2, which is nice and practical but also saves space.
