Description

When using mochito nets over beds in a non-stationary manner, e.g. when travelling by plane, the problem of missing hanging points often arises. In order to be able to attach such nets in a foreign hotel, for example, there would have to be hooks or something similar on the walls or ceiling of the room.

A solution is a system of four poles, for example, which are attached to the corners of the bed and which reach high up. These four vertical poles then form a stable frame for a net placed over it.

However, for reasons of low transport weight and ease of installation, a carrying system is preferable in which a vertical rod with a horizontal boom attached to the top is fixed to the bed box or bed frame. Such a system is already known and consists of a vertical rod that reaches the desired height of the top edge of the net and a small triangular, horizontal boom made of solid round rods with a leg length of around 50 cm, which serves as a support for a preferably conical net and which at the same time has a certain spreading function. This well-known triangular boom extends from the support tube rod to approximately the middle of the bed.

The disadvantage of this construction is the relatively high weight of the triangular solid rod boom construction and the asymmetrical fall of the net tulle, since the tulle falls freely on the side of the boom triangle facing away from the support tube and on the side facing the support tube the tulle rests on the boom triangle.

A visually clean installation of nets with a conical shape for single-point suspension and with an umbrella-like spreading spider is therefore not possible.

In addition, due to the slanting fall of the tulle on the side facing away from the support tube, the risk of being punctured through the net is very high if the body comes into contact with the net.

The innovation now concerns a gallows-like net support frame, which also allows a central suspension of the net, which ensures a high height of the central suspension point, which also guarantees a symmetrical and clean fall of the tulle and which also allows a spreading almost over the entire width of the bed.

This is achieved by attaching a vertical support rod (1) to the bed frame (5) with a suitable clamping mechanism (4) that reaches almost to the top of the net cone (6). A boom tube (2) that extends diagonally over the bed area is attached to the upper end of the vertical support rod (1), preferably plugged in. This boom tube that extends diagonally upwards over the bed surface should extend at an angle that corresponds as closely as possible to the upper opening angle of the common conical nets. In order not to throw nets over but to hang them from the underside on the boom, holes, hooks or other fastening elements can be attached to the upper end of the boom tube.

The entire construction is preferably designed as a demountable plug-in construction in order to achieve the smallest possible packing dimensions for transport.

At the upper end of the boom tube (2) that extends diagonally upwards, an additional boom section (3) can be provided as an extension. This should also preferably be plugged in. The resulting cantilevered roof-shaped boom construction ensures that the tulle falls almost symmetrically and across the entire width of the bed.

This additional boom part can also be designed as a multi-part part or a bent part, so that an additional spreading of the net towards the head or foot end is achieved.
