BESCHREIBUNGDESCRIPTION
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Notabschaltvorrichtung für Bordstromnetze von Kraftfahrzeugen, insbesondere von Fahrzeugen mit Verbrennungsmotoren.The invention relates to an emergency shutdown device for on-board power systems of motor vehicles, in particular vehicles with combustion engines.
Es sind Sicherheitsvorrichtungen in Kraftfahrzeugen zum Abschalten des Batteriestromes vom Bordnetz bekannt. Bei dieser Sicherheitsvorrichtung in Kraftfahrzeugen wird über einen steuerbaren Sicherheitsschalter zum Abschalten des durch eine Kraftfahrzeugbatterie abgegebenen elektrischen Stromes vom Bordnetz eine Steuereinheit vorgesehen, die ein Signal zur Erkennung eines Anlaßvorganges erfaßt, den aus der Batterie entnommenen Strom ermittelt und den steuerbaren Sicherheitsschalter öffnet, wenn kein Anlaßvorgang vorliegt und der Wert des aus der Batterie entnommenen Stromes größer als ein vorgegebener Kurzschlußgrenzwert ist. Diese und ähnliche Sicherheitseinrichtungen erfüllen ihren Zweck unter normalen Straßenverkehrsbedingungen bzw. beim Abstellen oder Parken der Kraftfahrzeuge. In Unfallsituationen, also während oder nach einem Unfall kann nicht gewährleistet werden, daß eine derartige Sicherheitsvomchtung funktionsfähig ist bzw. bleibt und den Batteriestrom vom Bordnetz trennt. Durch Crashsituationen ausgelöste Kurzschlüsse führen bei Unfällen im Straßenverkehr immer wieder zu Bränden an den Fahrzeugen mit Verbrennungsmotoren, die regelmäßig immer wieder Menschenleben fordern und Sachwerte zerstören. Diese Brände werden zum überwiegenden Teil dadurch ausgelöst, daß durch Verformen der Karrosserie Kurzschlüsse im Bordnetz auftreten und damit Lichtbogen oder erhebliche Temperaturerhöhungen entstehen.Safety devices in motor vehicles for switching off the battery current from the on-board network are known. Um den Übergangswiderstand in der Hauptstrombahn zu minimieren, wird diese Verbindung zwischen Batterieanschluß und Bordnetzkabel über diesen Hohlkörper hergestellt, in dessen Innenraum sich der Zündsatz bzw. Sprengsatz befindet. Die als Hohlkörper ausgebildete Strombahn weist in unmittelbarer Umgebung der Unterbrechungseinrichtung mindestens eine Sollbruchstelle auf, die bei Auslösung der Sensoren den Hohlkörper an mindestens einer Stelle so trennen, daß eine nicht reversible Unterbrechung der Strornführung explosionsartig erfolgt. Im Falle eines Aufpralles wird dann der Zünd- oder Spengsatz durch geeignete Sensoren, insbesondere Crashsensoren gezündet und schaltet in Millisekunden durch Unterbrechung bzw. Um der Entstehung von Lichtbogen und Funkenbildung entgegenzuwirken, ist die Notabschaltvorrichtung von einer Hülle aus nichtleitendem Material, beispielsweise Kunststoff umgeben. Diese die Notabschaltvorrichtung umgebene Hülle bzw. ein entsprechendes Gehäuse ist dabei so ausgebildet, daß ungehindert ein Druckausgleich der durch den Zündsatz bzw. der durch die explosionsartige Trennung der Strombahn freiwerdenden Energie stattfinden kann, ohne das Gehäuse in unbeabsichtigter Art und Weise zu zerstören.The explosive separation of the current path in the immediate vicinity of the interruption device can also be achieved by means of a type of plug connection.
