BESCHREIBUNGDESCRIPTION
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lampenabdeckung in Form eines einstückigen Hohlkörpers aus einem transparenten thermoplastischen Kunststoff, der eine Öffnung zur Einführung der Lampe und zur Befestigung an einem Leuchtenträger aufweist, wobei auf der Außenfläche des Wandkörpers eine Deckschicht aus einem UV-absorbierenden Acrylat vorgesehen ist.The invention relates to a lamp cover in the form of a one-piece hollow body made of a transparent thermoplastic material, which has an opening for inserting the lamp and for fastening to a lamp support, wherein a covering layer made of a UV-absorbing acrylate is provided on the outer surface of the wall body.

Weil die dazu verwendeten Kunststoffe unter der Einwirkung von UV-Strahlen im Laufe der Zeit mehr und mehr verspröden und somit zerbrechlich werden, und außerdem vergilben, haben derartige, insbesondere im Freien verwendeten Lampenabdeckungen eine vor UV-Strahlen schützende Außenschicht.Lamp covers of this type are already in public use in various forms and are therefore generally known. Die neuerdings mit zunehmender Verbreitung in den Verkehr kommenden Halogenlampen, namentlich Quecksilberdampflampen erzeugen ebenfalls UV-Strahlen. Sie bewirken damit in erheblichem Ausmaß eine Ozonisierung der die Lampe umgebenden Luft. Insbesondere bei Außenleuchten bildet die Lampenabdeckung eine geschlossene Kammer, in der praktisch kein Luftaustausch mit der Außenluft erfolgt. So baut sich innerhalb der Lampenabdeckung eine sehr hohe Ozonkonzentration auf. Es ist allgemein bekannt, daß durch Ozon Alterungsprozesse beschleunigt werden. Davon ist auch das Material des Wandkörpers der Lampenabdeckung betroffen, die beim Einsatz neuer Leuchtmittel aggressiven Einflüssen nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen ausgesetzt ist. Und das nicht nur durch UV-Strahlen, sondern auch durch eine hohe Ozonkonzentration der Luft innerhalb der Lampenabdeckung.Halogen lamps, namely mercury vapor lamps, which have recently become increasingly common, also produce UV rays. Die gestellte Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß eine Lampenabdeckung der in der Beschreibungseinleitung und im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 definierten Gattung auf der Innenseite des Wandkörpers eine Innenschutzschicht aus einem sowohl UV-Strahlen absorbierenden, als auch Ozon-undurchlässigen Acrylat angeordnet ist. Die Zeichnung zeigt mit teilweisem Schnittbild durch die Wand eine kugelförmige Lampenabdeckung. Ihr Wandkörper 1 ist als ein beispielsweise in einem an sich bekannten Rotationsschmelzverfahren aus einem thermoplastischen Kunststoff, z.B. einem Polycarbonat, hergestelltes Formteil ausgebildet. Auf ihrer Außenfläche ist in an sich bekannter Weise eine Schutzschicht 2 aus einem UV-Strahlen absorbierenden Acrylat vorgesehen. Als Schutzelement gegen von der Lampe ausgehende, außer von den UV-Strahlen insbesondere auch von der extram hohen Ozonkonzentration beruhenden zerstörenden Einflüssen ist zusätzlich eine innere Schutzschicht 3 angeordnet. Diese besteht ebenfalls aus einem Acrylat, welches bei seiner UV-Strahlen absorbierenden Wirkung auch Ozon-undurchlässig ist. Die Lampenabdeckung weist nur eine Öffnung 4 zur Einführung der Lampe und zur Befestigung an einem Leuchtenträger auf.The drawing shows a spherical lamp cover with a partial cross-section through the wall.
