Verschließen der Auslaßöffnung auf eine Drehbewegung der Schnecke vorgesehen ist. Dadurch wird bei einer manuellen Betätigung des Verschlußteiles gleichzeitig die Auslaßöffnung für das Lebensmittel freigegeben und das Lebensmittel zur Auslaßöffnung transportiert. Günstig ist es, wenn die Übertragungseinrichtung einen Freilauf aufweist, der die Bewegung des Verschlußteiles nur in einer Bewegungsrichtung, vorzugsweise der des öffnens, auf die Schnecke überträgt.
