Schlüsselring zur Aufnahme von handelsüblichen Schlüssein. Die hier zur Anmeldung gebrachte Einheit von Ring und Anhänger (siehe Figur 1) wird im folgenden nur noch kurz mit Schlüsselring bezeichnet.Key ring for holding commercially available keys. STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

Schlüsselringe üblicher Bauart besitzen einen mehr oder weniger komplizierten Öffnungsmechanismus (meist mittels beweglicher Schäkel) oder basieren auf dem Prinzip des Spaltrings. Schlüsselringe nach dem Spaltringprinzip haben eine torusförmige Grundstruktur und weisen zudem einen kreisförmigen (bzw. wenn gekröpft, einen geteilten kreisförmigen) Querschnitt auf. Die Enden des Rings überlappen sich in axialer Richtung. Schlüsselringe weisen im allgemeinen keinen zugehörigen Anhänger auf, wenn doch, so hat der Anhänger keinen direkten Formbezug zum Ring. Ist der Anhänger Träger von grafischen Elementen, sind dies gewöhnlich Werbegrafiken oder Hotelinformationen. Üblicherweise sind diese Grafiken aufgedruckt und in den wenigsten Fällen graviert. Beide Verfahren führen zu keinem, auf die Dauer abriebfesten bzw. lesbaren Erscheinungsbild.
