Description
The invention relates to an electrical contact strip made of tape material, the one electrical connection with the core of a cable and strain relief by encompassing the cable jacket forms for the electrical connection. With such contact strips, which are common today, can be done manually or mechanically with a device (e.g. a pair of pliers) the electrical connection and the strain relief production quickly and easily.
Im Zuschnitt des Kontaktstreifens gehen dieWith contact strips of this type are for the electrical Connection and the strain relief usually two in a row in the longitudinal direction of the contact strip arranged clamps are common, one clamping the core and the other clamping the sheath of the cable includes. In the cut of the contact strip they go
ίο beiden Arme, die quer zur Längsrichtung des Kontaktstreifens angeordnet sind und durch Umbördeln die Zwinge der Zugentlastung bilden, über die sonstige Breite des Kontaktstreifens hinaus, so daß die sehr lang gehaltenen Arme für die Zugentlastungszwinge die Breite des Bandmaterials bestimmen.ίο two arms that are perpendicular to the length of the contact strip are arranged and form the clamp of the strain relief by flanging over the other Width of the contact strip so that the very long arms for the strain relief clamp Determine the width of the tape material.
In US-PS 26 01 276 an electrical connection of a cable is described above, in which one from Tape material produced electrical contact strip is folded transversely to its longitudinal direction and in the The bending line of the fold is perforated. The core of the cable is through this perforation passed through and clamped between the two legs of the contact strip. This clamping is carried out so that the cable core from the electrical connection only with great effort can be pulled out. A strain relief of a possibly existing cable jacket is not shown.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, daß für die HerstellungThe object of the invention is that for the production
Dies führt zu einer kostengünstigeren Lagerung des Bandmaterials.- 1 O of the contact strip, the tape material by inserting the strain relief of the cable jacket does not have to be wider than is necessary for the other width of the contact strip. The electrical connection and the strain relief between the contact strip and a cable must still be able to be established easily and quickly, manually and by machine. According to the invention this object is achieved in that the contact strip on the cable jacket comprising end is perforated and as known folded transversely in itself to its longitudinal direction in the region of the hole 'St 1 and that the cable with the cable sheath passes through the hole and the two legs the folding of the contact strip encompass the cable jacket in its end area as a strain relief clamping. With such a configuration of the inventive concept there is the advantage that the contact strip does not have to be trimmed laterally and thus no sheet metal waste is incurred. This is particularly advantageous because the contact springs are often manufactured in large numbers. This lowers the initial costs of the contact springs and the tools required for their production. Furthermore, there is the advantage that the manufacturer of contact strips has to store fewer widths of strip material because of the uniform width of the contact strips. This leads to a more cost-effective storage of the strip material.
Weiterhin ist es vorteilhaft, daß zwischen den beiden Schenkeln der Faltung ein dem KabeldurchmesserIt is also advantageous that a cable diameter between the two legs of the fold
Bei einer derartigen Ausführungsform der Kontaktfeder erhält man durch Andrücken der beiden Schenkel auf den Kabelmantel eine Zugentla- bo corresponding distance exists, wherein the free end of the folded leg is angled towards the other leg, and that at least one inner surface of the two legs of the fold has a groove-shaped indentation starting from the perforation and extending in the direction of the cable, in which the cable runs . In such an embodiment of the contact spring, a strain relief is obtained by pressing the two legs onto the cable sheath.

Durch die rinnenförmige Einbuchtung in mindestens einem Schenke! erhöht sich die Stabilität der Faltung.performance of the electrical connection, with the free angled end penetrating the cable jacket, whereby the pull-out forces for the cable are increased. The groove-shaped indentation in at least one tavern! the stability of the folding increases.
It is also advantageous to make a notch in the angled free end of the fold into which the Cable sheath is pressed in. The wedge effect of the notch on the cable jacket creates a relative high aripress pressure.
It is also advantageous if at least one leg is pressed into the cable jacket from the outside This embodiment of the strain relief can be easily and quickly z. B. produce with pliers.
Furthermore, it is advantageous on the longer of the two legs of the contact strip in front of the free one End of the shorter leg to form a ferrule by tapering and flanging the sides Includes cable core electrically conductive. Through this 2 <i advantageous arrangement of the ferrule for folding the cable can easily through the hole in the fold insert the electrical clamp and make the electrical connection by pressing the clamp against the Make the cable core (e.g. with a pair of pliers).
In a further advantageous embodiment of the inventive concept, the angled free end protrudes of the folded leg partially through recesses arranged in the other leg, wherein the protruding ends are interlaced. Thereby) o The strain relief of the electrical connection remains even when the contact strip is subjected to greater stress unchanged.
