Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen und Entwässern von Dampf. Das Wesen der Erfindung gegenüber bekannten Vorrichtungen besteht in der besonderen Bauart, die verhindert, daß der aufstoßende Dampf die abgesonderten Bestandteile wieder mitreißen und von neuem verunreinigen kann.The invention relates to a device for cleaning and dewatering steam. Bei der dargestellten Ausführung sind an dem Gehäuse g der Dampfzuleitungs- (d) und der Dampfableitungsstutzen α angeordnet. Der Zuleitungsstutzen d ist mit an den Enden geschlossenen Querrohren q versehen, an denen sich eine Anzahl Rohrstützen c nebeneinander befinden. Unter jedem der Stutzen ist eine schräge Rinne r angebracht, die durch eine dachartige Schiene s derart überdeckt ist, daß neben deren Außenkanten und der Rinnenwand schmale Schlitze verbleiben. Am unteren Teil der dachartigen Schienen sind Löcher 0 angebracht. Der durch die Stutzen c austretende Dampf trifft auf die Schienen s und setzt hier die flüssigen Bestandteile und Verunreinigungen ab. Er wird dann von den Schienen s nach beiden Seiten geleitet und gelangt durch die zwischen den Schienenkanten und der Rinnenwand gebildeten Schlitze in die Rinnen unter den Schienen. Hier wird er durch den nachströmenden Dampf nach unten gedrückt und verläßt die Rinnen schließlich durch die Öffnungen 0, worauf er durch den Stutzen α austritt. Die abgesetzte Flüssigkeit und die Unreinigkeiten sammeln sich unten in den Rinnen und fließen an den Enden der Rinnen bei I aus.
