Die weitere Ausbildung des in dem Hauptpatent 276691 angegebenen Verfahrens hat zu der überraschenden Beobachtung geführt, daß es bei der Anwendung dieses Verfahrens in der Chromolithographie, bei dem die dunkleren Farben, welche allein ein sichtbares Moiree veranlassen, niemals auf das Weiß des Papiers, sondern stets auf vorgedruckte helle Farben fallen, nicht erforderlich ist, die Rasterlage für die einzelnen Farbplatten zu verändern, sondern daß man zweckmäßig von jeder Winkelung absieht und alle Farbplatten in der gleichen Rasterlage kopiert. Dabei wurde festgestellt, daß die auf letztere Weise erhaltenen Reproduktionen ruhiger wirken und die Zeichnung besser wiedergeben als bei Anwendung von Farbplatten mit verschiedener Rasterlage.
