Die Eigenart der Bauart gestattet nämlich, daß die Bücher, Zeitschriften o. dgl. auch durch die Mitte der Gestelle hindurchgeschoben und bei doppelseitiger Ausführung drei oder mehrere Folianten in der Tiefe aufgestapelt werden können. Infolgedessen eignet sich das Fachgestell ganz besonders zum Aufbewahren von Fachzeitschriften, Zeitungen u. dgl.
