Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verdeck für Kraftwagen mit Phaeton-Kastenbau. Das Verdeck ist derart gebaut, daß es zusammengeklappt werden kann und in einem an der Karosserie vorgesehenen Behälter von bekannter Bauart und Anordnung vollständig untergebracht und dem Auge entzogen werden kann.The invention relates to a convertible top for motor vehicles with a Phaeton box structure. Die bekannten Ausführungen werden jedoch derart zusammengeklappt, daß sie sich in zusammengelegtem Zustande in die Längsrichtung des Wagens legen. Die gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung getroffene Einrichtung, daß die Verdeckstützen sich in der Breitenrichtung des Wagens zusammenklappen, erzielt, daß das Verdeck in zusammengelegtem. Zustande einen sehr kleinen Raum beansprucht, und daß dasselbe in einem nirgends vorspringenden Kasten untergebracht werden kann; ferner wird dadurch ermöglicht, den Verdeckbehälter unter dem Standort der Verdeckstützen anzitordnen.
