Chain lock

The invention relates to a chain lock, the chain of which is provided with a locking device at one end that works with any link in the chain.

The increase in thefts, particularly of two-wheelers, has led to the development of numerous removable locking devices that have different and multiple uses.

The most effective devices have a chain, one end of which is provided with a locking device, which can cooperate with any link in the chain to lock an object and / or secure its attachment to a solid object. In the case of a two-wheeler, such a device allows to lock the vehicle and possibly to a fixed point, such as a tree, a signal mast, to attach to a grid, etc.

The known devices, in order to be effective, require a chain of high quality as well as a safe one and robust locking device. These features result in a high manufacturing price and frequent a complicated application.

The object of the invention is to create a locking device that is of high quality and durability a simplified assembly, a lower manufacturing price and a very simple operation permitted.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the locking device has a housing that is fixed to one end of the chain, a bolt that goes over the housing protrudes and is provided with a hook, a latch that slides parallel to the bolt and is attached next to it is, and has a security cylinder lock that rotates in the housing and the displacement of the sliding latch controls.

At the end of a chain 1, the housing 2 of a locking device is fixed. The housing 2 consists of metal plates 2, 2, etc., which are stacked and riveted. The housing 2 has an elongated cavity 3 in which a housing 4 of a cylinder lock is fastened, the cylinder core 4 ^{1 of which} is actuated by a key 5.
