Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Billardspielautomat. Der neue Billardautomat besteht im wesentliehen aus den Ballfängern a, b, c, d, e, f, g und h, welche gleichzeitig zur Arretierung des letzten gespielten Balles nach einer bestimmten Anzahl von Stößen dienen, und dem Zählmechanismus i, welcher die Zahl der gespielten Bälle bestimmt. Die Ballfänger bestehen aus an einer oder mehreren durch Handgriffe schwingbaren Wellen w befestigten Fängern α bis h, welche an ihren oberen Enden abgebogen sind. Die besondere Form der Klappen soll verhindern, daß der Ball weder vorwärts noch rückwärts laufen kann, sobald der Zughebel I unbefugterweise in eine Mittelstellung gebracht und darin erhalten wird, so daß die Kugel nur freigegeben wird, wenn der Handhebel I ganz herausgezogen wird. Andererseits kann keine Kugel in die Klappen einlaufen, wenn der Hebel ganz herausgezogen ist, wie in Fig. 3 die rechts punktierte Stellung der Kugel zeigt. Ballfänger und Zählmechanismus stehen durch die Zugstange k mit Handgriff I untereinander in Verbindung. Die Stange k besitzt zu diesem Zwecke eine Schaltklinke m (Fig. 2), welche das Stiftenrad η bei jedem Zuge am Griff I um einen Stift vorwärts dreht. Eine Gegenklinke 0 sorgt dafür, daß stets nur ein Stift des Rades η durchgelassen wird.
