Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Klebstoffauftragvorrichtung für Wellpappenmaschinen, mittels der die Breite. des auf das Werkstück aufzutragenden Klebstoffstreifens geregelt werden kann.The invention relates to an adhesive application device for corrugated cardboard machines, by means of which the width. of the adhesive strip to be applied to the workpiece can be.
Um auf den bisher in Gebrauch befindlichen Wellpappenmaschinen auch Papiere von
geringerer Breite verarbeiten zu können, bildete man die Klebstoffauftragwalze teilweise
aus Ringen, welche je nach Bedarf aufgesteckt oder entfernt werden konnten. Diese
Ringe rosteten meist durch die Feuchtigkeit des Klebstoffes auf der Welle fest und waren
nur mit Anwendung großer Gewalt von der Welle zu entfernen, wobei sie teilweise stark
beschädigt wurden und dann nicht wieder verwendbar waren. Später half man sich damit,
daß man für jede Papierbreite eine Walze aus einem Stück anfertigen ließ, was aber wiederum bedeutende Kosten verursachte.
Gemäß der Erfindung erfolgt die Regelung der Breite des Klebstoffstreifens durch zwischen
Auftrag- und Klebstoffwalze angeordnete, beide Walzen gleichzeitig berührende
und kürzer als diese gehaltene Ubertragungswalzen, die in axialer Richtung gegeneinander
einstellbar gelagert sind.

Fig. 3 zeigt eine abgeänderte Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung. Walzen b und c sind Übertragungswalzen von geringerer Breite als die Auftragwalze und so eingerichtet, daß sie unabhängig voneinander seitlich verschoben werden können. Die beiden Übertragungswalzen b und c entnehmen den Klebstoff . von Walze d, welche in die Klebstoff behälter e eintaucht. Je nachdem nun die beiden Übertragungswalzen b und c seitlich verschoben werden,.erfolgt die Über-ϋ^μη§ des Klebstoffes in verschiedener Breite auf Walze a, welche den Klebstoff dann an die in der Riffelwalze f liegende Papierbahn abgibt. Die Vorrichtung läßt sich auch derart ausbilden, daß die untere Walze c in der Mitte in gewisser Länge festgelagert und die obere Walze b mit zwei verschiebbaren Ringen versehen ist, wie Fig. 3 zeigt, oder auch umgekehrt.
