Landmine. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 30. Mai 1914 ab. Land mine. Patented in the German Empire on May 30 , 1914.
Von solchen Minen seienNumerous landmine installations are known; z. B. gets a large, in Explosive charge hidden from the earth through direct expression of the force of the explosive to take effect. At other facilities, a mine installed in the ground or above with prepared explosives explodes brought and especially counted on the effect of the explosive. Be from such mines
B. nach dem System Pfund-Schmidt (a. a. 0., S.271U. f.). Diesen Ubelständen soll die hier beschriebene neue Mineneinrichtung abhelfen.ίο here mentioned the so-called stone mines, in which a stone load placed underground in a general direction being thrown forward to. These mines have the disadvantage that the The trajectory of the explosive parts cannot be rapid, as it is thrown out of the ground Elevations of the mine of about 60 ° are required (cf. Bruno Zschokke, Handbook of the entire military blasting technology, Leipzig 1911, p. 265, Fig. 184). Mines, at. whole projectiles are thrown out of the ground, have the disadvantage, that the projectiles bursting above the ground also bring their effect backwards towards the defender. The well-known so-called land torpedoes, e.g. B. after the Pfund-Schmidt system (op. Cit., P.271U. F.). The one described here is intended to counteract these evils remedy new mine facility.
It is characterized by the simultaneous interaction of a main explosive charge and one or more jaw loads. The explosive main explosive charge causes a rapid hurling of the upstream one Explosive parts close to the ground. The intended jaw loads, which are both Side loading, top loading or, if required, also bottom loading can be used, detonate at the same time as the main explosive charge. The high tension ones they created Detonation gases exert a corresponding side pressure from the side on which the jaw charge was arranged on the sheaf of explosives while it is being created. It becomes one with it large lateral spread of the fragmentation sheaf countered by the main charge. As a result, the sheaf of fragments becomes more inevitable in a certain direction forwarded than is otherwise the case with the high-tension gases of the main charge, spreading in all directions is the case. At the same time, through the arrangement of the main charge behind a demolition wall in conjunction with the cheek charges ensured that backwards in Direction towards the defender to fly back almost no explosives, so that a large safety zone was formed behind the mine at a short distance from it will. The fragments of the mine box that are created during blasting are only small and only become effective at a short distance backwards. About these distances the mine must be pushed in front of the defensive line anyway in order to avoid the Not to endanger defenders by bang and the effects of air pressure.
In den Figuren sind BackenladungenIn the accompanying drawing, such mines are shown in various embodiments. In the figures are jaw charges
Claims (1)
Von bekannten Mineneinrichtungen, z. B... dung, e partition walls, f ball or explosive piece filling, fixed by intermediate means, g lining for inserting a mechanically operating mine detonator or a detonator for electrical ignition, h wooden block base. The use of such mines is as follows: The box-like mine vessel is placed on the ground and covered accordingly. The mines can also be buried in the ground. A special, suitable device, not described here, is then initially used to raise it above the ground before the mine charge detonates. Incidentally, such lifting does not take place, as is the case with other known mining devices, by the explosion of a propellant charge acting directly on the mine box, since this would necessarily damage the structure of the mine box.
From known mining facilities, e.g. B.
