Maschinen mit Schraubenfedern als Zwischenstücke sind schon bekannt. Das Neue liegt demgegenüber darin, daß die Zwischenstücke aus Federn bestehen, deren Enden Gang auf Gang liegen und so als schubstarr wirken.
