Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 22. Februar 1914 ab. Längste Dauer: 23. Juli 1925.Patented in the German Empire on February 22, 1914. Longest duration: July 23, 1925.
Claim 6 of the main patent is directed to a collector (combination collector), through which a circuit at certain positions of the carrying brushes Shaft is closed. Connecting lines lead from the segments of the collector to a number of changeover switches; by setting them, the position of the Determined wave at which a short circuit should occur.
In the case of the combination collector according to the main patent 264371, the number of all segments is about twice as large as the number of positions in which the shaft has one Can bring about termination. The subject of the present additional invention is a reduction in the number of these segments almost half. This simplification is achieved in that the isolation points one Collector ring are not in line with the isolation points of other rings, but are offset against them. By mutually relocating the isolation points one can achieve that every time you turn the brushes from a current short position on the other hand, only a single abrasive brush across an isolation point to a new one Collector segment slides. The number of collector segments is thereby reduced to the achievable Minimum number brought. , Such a shape of the collector is created, for. B., if the isolation points of a collector, ring in line with the center of every other segment of another collector ring to be ordered.
Von den Segmenten der Kollektorringe führen Verbindungsleitungen zuIn the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, namely in Fig. Ι a view of the collector, while Fig. 2 shows the segment rings developed and shows their connection with the switches. Collector 1 is assumed to be fixed, the brush arm 3 (see also Fig. 3) on the other hand rotates with the shaft 2 on which it is attached. The collector 1 has six segment rings 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, with the exception of the ring 23 in individual segments isolated from one another are divided. Ring 18 is sixteen, ring 19 is eight, ring 20 is four and rings 21 and 22 divided into two segments each. As can be seen from the drawing, the isolation points are located between the different segments are not in a line, but are against each other offset, namely the isolation points of the ring 19 are below the center every other segment of the ring 18, and the isolation points of the ring 20 under the Middle of every second segment of the ring 19, etc. The contact brushes drag on the rings 12 to 17, which are attached to the brush arm 3 and conductively connected to one another in pairs are. Connecting lines lead from the segments of the collector rings
The pivot points of the changeover switches 8 and g are connected to one another, as well that of changeover switches 10 and 11. A line leads from changeover switch 7 to the current source 4, from this via a useful resistor, which is intended here as an electromagnet 5, to the collector ring 23. The five changeover switches 7 to 11 can be brought into a total of 32 different switching positions , and for each of these switching positions there is a different position of the brush arm 3 in which the current is closed. If, for example, the changeover switches 7 and 11 are turned upwards and the changeover switches 8, 9, 10 downwards, as shown in FIG. 2, the current is closed when the brush arm is brought into the position shown in FIG. In Fig. 2, the corresponding position is indicated by the dash-dotted line AA . The current takes the following course: From the power source 4 via the changeover switch 7, contact 7 ', ring 18, pair of brushes 12, 13, ring 19, contact 8 ", changeover switch 8, changeover switch 9, contact 9", ring 20, pair of brushes 14 , 15, ring 21, contact 10 ", changeover switch 10, changeover switch 11, contact 11 ', ring 22, pair of brushes 16, 17, ring 23 and via the useful resistor 5 back to the battery.
The individual collector rings can be used against one another without changing the effect twist when the brushes dragging on them are opposite to the brush arm 3 accordingly with twisted.
