Die Vorrichtung an Acetylengrubenlampen zur sicheren Abdichtung des Carbidbehälters gegen den Wasserbehälter besteht aus zwei an dem Carbidbehälter in zweckentsprechender Art !und Weise befestigten, mit einer Riffelung α versehenen Scheiben b, die je einen Stutzen c tragen, auf dem eine Exzenterscheibe d drehbar angeordnet ist. Zum Festhalten dieser Exzenterscheiben in jeder beliebigen Lage sind die Stutzen c im Innern mit einem Gewinde e versehen, in welches die mit der Kopfplatte f versehene Schraubenspindel g eingeschraubt wird. Die Kopfplatte f drückt die ebenfalls mit einer Riffelung versehene Exzenterscheibe d fest gegen die Scheibe b, so daß die Scheibe d auf dem Stutzen c festsitzt. Durch den Hebelmechanismus h, i wird der obere Rand des Carbidbehälters k gegen die am Boden des Wasserbehälters I befindliche Dichtung gedrückt.
