Das Verfahren besteht im wesentlichen darin, dafs die Felle oder Häute in der gewöhnlichen Weise eingeweicht und aufgeschlagen werden und erst nach diesem bekannten Verfahren einige Tage in reines Wasser gelegt und darauf ebenso viele Tage der Luft ausgesetzt werden. Alsdann werden die Felle wieder 3 Tage in Wasser gelegt und dann wieder 3 Tage an die freie Luft und so fort, auf eine Dauer von ungefähr 14 Tagen, wenn gesalzene Felle unter Behandlung sind, und ungefähr 8 bis 10 Tage langer, wenn getrocknete Häute behandelt werden.For this purpose the skins are first made from meat tags in some known manner and other impurities and then soaked in cold water for about 3 days.
