Die Erfindung ist auf eine Zange gerichtet, deren Gelenk verstellbar ist. Der die beiden Zangenhälften verbindende Gelenkbolzen läuft in einem Schlitze, welcher sich seitlich in Rasten zur Aufnahme des Gelenkbolzens, zwecks Verstellung der Maulweite der Zange, erweitert. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß der in eine Rast gebrachte Gelenkbolzen durch einen am anderen Zangenteil um den Gelent bolzen geführten Kreisbogen in seiner Lage festgehalten wird, indem der Kreisbogen an einem der Rast gegenüberliegenden Widerlager auf der anderen Seite des Schlitzes sich stützend, ein Eintreten des Gelenkbolzens in den die Rasten verbindenden Schlitz verhindert.
