Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Schlammeimer mit Bodenklappe für Straßeneinläufe. Die Übelstände der bisherigen Bodenentleerung des Eimers werden gemäß der Erfindung dadurch vermieden, daß man den Bodenverschluß nicht am unteren Rande des Eimermantels, sondern an einem sich trichterförmig verjüngenden Auslauf anordnet, um dessen Hals der aufgebogene, z. B. umgebördelte Rand des Verschlußdeckels greift, der ein Stück oberhalb des unteren Eimerrandes ausmündet. Infolge dieser Lage und der Umböi'delung des Verschlußdeckels ist dieser gegen Verbiegungen geschützt und wird auch bei längerem Gebrauch dicht schließen. Nach dem Öffnen des Bodenverschlusses wird sich der Eimerinhalt verhältnismäßig langsam und ruhig durch den verengten Querschnitt des Auslaufes entleeren. Die Verriegelung des Verschlußdeckels erfolgt' gemäß der Erfindung am Eimermantel, .und zwar mittels eines über den Eimermantel nach außen vorstehenden Hebels. Der oberhalb der Eimerbodenkante ausmündende trichterförmige Auslauf c endet in einem ringförmigen Hals d, der durch einen Deckel e mit einem sich um den Hals d legenden Verschlußansatz f verschlossen werden kann. Zur Verriegelung des Verschlusses wird ein am Verschlußdeckel e befestigter Hebel g benutzt, der nach der Eimeraußenwand geführt ist, dort durch einen Keilriegel h an dem Verschlußteil i festgehalten wird und in einem über den Eimermantel nach außen vorstehenden Handgriff k endigt. Beim Öffnen oder Schließen des Deckels kann mit der linken Hand der Handgriff k, mit der rechten Hand der Verschlußriegel h bedient werden. Ein plötzliches Entleeren des Schlammeimers kann vermieden werden, da mittels des Handgriffs k des Verschlußhebels die Bodenklappe nach Belieben langsam geöffnet werden kann.
