Die vorliegende Einrichtung bezweckt, die im Haupt-Patent No. 21501 angegebene Kettenanordnimg dahin zu verbessern, dafs sich beim Aufrollen die Seitenketten b selbstthätig so reguliren, dafs deren Radien gleich sind mit den Radien der Innenketten c, wobei zugleich die Lage der Drehpunkte, sowie der Stabquerschnitt innerhalb gewisser Grenzen beliebig gewählt sein kann.The present device aims at that in main patent no. 21501 to improve the chain arrangement given so that when rolling up the side chains b automatically regulate themselves so that their radii are equal to the radii of the inner chains c, whereby at the same time the position of the pivot points as well as the rod cross-section can be chosen arbitrarily within certain limits.

Zu diesem Zweck sind die Seitenketten b nicht direct, sondern durch die Excenter e mit den Zapfen F der Stäbe a in Verbindung. Die am oberen Kettenende befindlichen Haken h hängen sich beim Herablassen, Fig. 1, in entsprechende Ausschnitte der Laufhuthen g ein und bewirken bei weiterem Nachlassen der mit der Rollachse verbundenen Innenketten c die gleichzeitige Verdrehung sämmtlicher Stäbe. Beim Aufziehen, Fig. 2, schliefsen sich zunächst die Stäbe, ferner sinken die Seitenketten b unter Verdrehung der Excenter e relativ so weit herab, als es die Schlitze in den Haken h gestatten. Hierdurch bildet sich in diesen nun lose hängenden Ketten eine Reserve, die, wenn beim Aufwickeln Radiendifferenz obwaltet, angezogen wird.For this purpose, the side chains b are not directly, but are connected to the pegs F of the rods a through the eccentrics e .
