Abstract

The spoon is designed for people suffering from illnesses which prevent them consuming too much liquid in their diet, but enabling them to eat soup for instance, leaving the liquid in the dish, and taking only the solid constituents. The bowl (2) of the soup spoon (1) is shaped as a normal (Line Illegible) the liquid escapes back into the dish. The holes may be round, or in the form of slits, or stars. The holes may solely be in the middle of the bowl (2) of the soup spoon, or spaced out over the entire bowl (2).
