Das Motor- und Gebläse gehäuse 2 und der Handgriff 3 sind im Anlenkungsbereich abgeschrägt ausgebildet, wobei die Abschrägung 6 gegenüber der Längsachse des Gerätes etwa eine Neigung von 40 Grad aufweist. Durch diese Ausbildung des Anlenkungsbereichs wird erreicht, daß das Haarbehandlungsgerät einerseits in ein Gerät von Stabform (Fig. 1) und andererseits in ein Gerät von pistolenförmiger Gestalt verwandelt werden kann. Dadurch, daß der Handgriff 3 in unterschiedliche Winkelstellungen zum Motor- und Gebläsegehäuse 2 drehbar ist, hat der Benutzer die Möglichkeit, die für ihn jeweils günstigste Handgriffstellung beim Behandeln der Haare zu wählen. Zum Zwecke des gelenkigen Verbindens des Motor- und Gebläsegehäuses 2 mit dem Handgriff 3 weist die Abschrägung am Handgriff 3 eine umlaufende nutenartige Vertiefung 16 auf, in der das Motor- und Gebläsegehäuse 2 mit einer an dessen Abschrägung angeformten umlaufenden Schiene 17 geführt ist.
