Im rechten Winkel zum Haartrockner-Gehäuse ist ein Handgriff 7 angeordnet, der zweckmäßig abnehmbar ausgebildet ist. Zu diesem Zweck ist der Handgriff 7 mit federnden Haken 8 versehen, mit denen der Handgriff in entsprechende schlitzförmige Rastöffnungen 13 in der durch die kreisförmige Anordnung der Luftansaugschlitze 5 gebildeten Kreisfläche 5' einrastbar ist. Die federnden Haken 8 gehen in einen aus dem Handgriff 7 geformten Federlappen 10 über, der an seiner Oberseite eine geriffelte Betätigungsfläche 11 aufweist. Zwischen den Haken 8 sind am Handgriff 7 noch Zentrierungszapfen 12 angeformt, für die in der Kreisfläche 5' die entsprechenden Zentrieröffnungen 9 vorgesehen sind. Der Handgriff 7 ist mit einem in Längsrichtung verbundenen Schlitz 14 zum Einbringen und somit Führen bzw. Halten des Zuleitungskabels 6 in koaxialer Lage versehen (Fig. 3).
