Abstract

A self release mechanism uses an aerosol canister with a manually operated valve. A cylindrical housing of two parts(1a, 1b) screwed together contains a small aerosol canister(2). The nozzle end(11) of the canister is retained against the inside surface of the housing and is held in position by a trigger valve(5) that presses a latch(6) against the rear surface of the canister.
