Der Schneidenteil 1 besteht aus einem Stahl mit einer Körperhärte zwischen 40 und 50 HRc und wurde ebenfalls aus Stabstahl mit einer normalen Kaltbiegemaschine und zwar im harten Zustand auf die betreffende Form gebogen. Der Schneidenteil 1 und der Messerkörperteil 2 wurden nach dem Biegen auf die gewünschte Form mittels einer Schweißvorrichtung so zusammengehalten, daß die verlange Messerhöhe exakt erzielt werden konnte.Sodann wurdeder Messerkörperteil 2 mit dem Schneidenteil 1 in dessen neutraler Faser durch punktförmige Außenschwelßungen 3 jeweils im Abstand von etwa 20 bis 40 mm miteinander verbunden. (Diese Schweißungen erfolgten genau in der neutralen Faser des Schneidenteiles 1, um jeden Verzug desselben zu vermeiden.) Die Wärmeeinwirkung durch das Schweißen veränderte den Schneidenteil 1 nur geringfügig, da der Hauptteil der beim punktförmigen Verschweißen entstandenen Wärme sehr rasch in den verhältnismäßie starken Messerkörperteil 2 abfloß. Gleichzeitig mit den punktförmigen Außenschweißungen 3 wurden zwischen deren Stellen punktförmige Innenschweißungen 4 in der von dem Messerkörperteil 2 und dem Schneidenteil 1 gebildeten Ecke durchgefUhrt.
