Es sind bereits zum Beschießen von Luftschiffen .bestimmte Infanteriegeschosse bekannt, welche mit einer langsam brennenden, beim Abfeuern durch die Treibgase zu entzündenden Masse gefüllt sind. Um bei solchen Geschossen die Wirkung der Flamme am Ziel zu erhöhen und sogenannte Stichflammen zu erzeugen, wird nach der Erfindung in der Mitte des Geschosses eine Bohrung angeordnet, welche nicht ganz durch das Geschoß hindurchgeht; es muß daher erst ein Teil der Masse verbrennen und das Geschoß eine bestimmte Strecke der Flugbahn zurückgelegt haben, bis Luft durch die Bohrung hindurchgehen kann, so daß die Hauptwirkung des Geschosses erst dann eintritt, wenn das Geschoß nahe am Ziel ist. In der Zeichnung ist das Geschoß im Längsschnitt dargestellt.
