An der Innenfläche der Stirnwand 10 sind mehrere Z-förmige Rippen 13 vorgesehen, die das Trockengut vom Umfang der Trommel in die von den Rippen 12 gebildeten Räume führen. Eine in der Stirnwand 10 vorgesehene Klappe 10' gestattet den Zugang zum Trommelinnern zwecks Reinigung und Reparatur.
