Bei einigen Gaskraftmaschinen hat man zur Ansaugung von Leuchtgas und Luft und zu ihrer gesonderten Einpressung in den Verbrennungsraum aufser dem Arbeitscylinder zwei Pumpen verwendet. Das kann man mit einer einzigen Pumpe besorgen, wenn man in dieser die beiden Gase durch einen beutelähnlichen Behälter, in welchen eines. der Gase aufgenommen wird, getrennt hält.
